A first edition of Malcolm Bradbury's Who Do You Think You Are? Stories and Parodies, published in London in 1976 (Secker & Warburg).
Bradbury is best known for the campus satire The History Man and for shaping the creative writing programme at the University of East Anglia. This collection shows his sharp comic eye at its best: short stories and parodies that poke fun at literary fashions, academic life and the habits of writers themselves. It's a smart, funny read and a lovely piece of 1970’s British literary history.
Mr. Bradbury’s third novel, The History Man, won critical acclaim and was one of the most talked about books in 1975.
