Robert A. Heinlein. First edition, ninth impression (stated). New York: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1963. Both price-clipped dust jacket, in a mylar wrapper, and hardcover are in Near Fine condition. Jacket design by Irv Doktor. Has publisher's code 0263 on inside flap of jacket. No writing or markings in this very well preserved edition, 191 pp.

While accompanying their uncle, a wily politician, on a trip from Mars to Earth, Podkayne, a 15-year old girl, and her brilliant, but pesky brother are caught in a plot to keep Uncle Tom from an important conference.

This was Heinlein's last young adult science fiction novel. "Interesting in whether to consider this one of the classic Heinlein Juvenile" series. Many reviewers list it with the juveniles and a teenager narrates it, but Heinlein himself did not regard it is a "juvenile."

Heinlein was considered the Dean of Science Fiction winning both the Nebula and Hugo awards for his creative and inspiring writing.
