Both unclipped dust jacket and hardcover are in Very Good condition. No writing or markings in the book, 121 pp. The jacket has aging and some chipping along its edges.

Precedes the U.K. edition by two years. Between 1950 and his death C.S. Lewis wrote more than 100 letters to an American women, he never met. Her name, not divulged in the book, was Mary Willis Washburne. She donated the letters to Wheaton College.
