This was the last book of poetry that he published in his lifetime. First collection of poems in fifteen years by this four-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize. The book was first published in 1962 with a print run of 1500 signed copies by the author. This book, containing many new poems at the time, was published a year prior to his death. Includes a poem, "The Gift," read at the Kennedy Inauguration in 1962 and due to the bright, sunny day, he had to read it from memory.
