Other than former owners signature, no writing or markings in the book, 101 pp. There is some foxing on two pages only left from an article or picture that was placed in the book, all other pages are crisp and clean. There is also some chipping on the spine of the jacket. Dust jacket is in Very Good condition. Author photograph by David H. Rhinelander. Hardcover: Very Good+ condition. Grey cloth with silver lettering on the spine. 

This was the last book of poetry that he published in his lifetime. It was also the first collection of poems in fifteen years by this four-time winner of the Pulitzer Prize. The book was first published in 1962 with a print run of 1500 signed copies by the author. This book, containing many new poems at the time, including a poem, "The Gift," read at the Kennedy Inauguration in 1962 and due to the bright, sunny day, he had to read it from memory. 

A first edition of Frost's final book of poetry. This collection of new poems, was published the year before Frost's death.
