A near fine two-volume first edition set of The Diary of a Writer by Fyodor Dostoievsky, translated by Boris Brasol. Originally published in installments in Russia, this collection of essays, reflections, and commentary offers a rare window into Dostoievsky’s thoughts on politics, philosophy, literature, and the moral questions of his age.
This set is in excellent condition, with both volumes clean, square, and tightly bound. Housed in the original slipcase, which shows only light shelf wear. Near fine overall.
