No writing, markings or ex libris found in the book, 355 pp. There is no “A" denoting first edition on copyright b/c the book was published prior to 1930 by Scribner. Also lacks the legal disclaimer on page x. This was from the fifth and final print run for the book in 1929.
This was Hemingway's fourth book, following Men Without Women.
