A simply gorgeous collectable copy of Dylan's first book which is getting very tough to find in such nice condition.
Written in 1966, Tarantula is a collection of poems and prose that evokes the turbulence of the times in which it was written, and gives a unique insight into Dylan's creative evolution. The delay in the publication of Tarantula was due to a motorcycle accident experienced by Dylan in 1966; a number of pirated versions of the book were printed prior to the 1971 issue date.
Dylan contracted with Macmillan to write Tarantula in 1964, but for various reasons, the book never made it to the press. Tarantula was not commercially published until 1971.
