Thomas Sowell, age 94, is an American economist, historian and philosopher who did his undergraduate work at Harvard University. He then went on to do graduate work at Columbia (MA) and University of Chicago (PhD). He was an important figure during the Reagan era and an integral part of the conservative movement.
