In a mylar protective wrapper. Hardcover: Near Fine. London: Jonathan Cape, 1950. Traveler's Library Edition. Beautiful red cloth with gold lettering on cover and spine. Very clean. No writing or markings in the book, 334 pp. The only blemish with this book is page 225/226 has a small piece of tape which does not effect the reading (see photo).
Hemingway's classic novel was originally published in November 1929. The book was reprinted three times in 1929, twice in November and once in December. It was re-issued in 1932, reprinted twice in 1933, twice in 1934, 1935-38, re-issued in 1944-46 and then this re-issue by Travelers' in 1950.
Hemingway has previously stated that he wrote the last chapter of AFTA 39 times!
