Other than former owners name on flyleaf page and stamped in on intro page, no writing or markings in the book, 189 pp.
The jacket has a 2.5 inch piece missing out of bottom of spine (see photos). Former book owner is Carlos Ball of Caracas, a well respected Venezuelan journalist and Cato adjunct scholar.
This copy is an omnibus edition of le Carré's first two novels Call for the Dead (1961) and A Murder of Quality (1962).
The book contained two le Carre early works, Call for the Dead and A Murder of Quality. The first book introduces George Smiley who will be used in many future novels written by the author.
