Robert A. Heinlein. Yoji Kondo, editor. First edition (stated), first printing. Dust Jacket: Near Fine. An unclipped jacket designed by Varol Russo and art work by Pat Morrissey. There is a small tear on front corner otherwise, perfect. Hardcover: Fine. NY: A Tom Doherty Associates Book, 1992. Preface by Virginia Heinlein. Black cloth with gold lettering on spine. No writing or markings in the book, like new, unread, 341 pp.

Requiem is a compelling celebration of Robert A. Heinlein and his vision, containing many new and uncollected works by the Grand Master of science fiction, including two major novellas: Destination Moon, which was made into the famous George Pal film, and Tenderfoot in Space. The book was published four years after Heinleins death, who passed away two months before turning 81.

A miscellany including fiction and nonfiction by Heinlein, latter mostly convention speeches, speeches made at the October 1988 National Air and Space Museum Heinlein Retrospective, and tributes to Heinlein by Poul Anderson, Spider Robinson, Greg Bear, Arthur C. Clarke, Larry Niven, Robert Silverberg and others. A must have book for all Heinlein readers and collectors.
