Mr. Lethem has lead a very interesting life, in my humble opinion. He is a Brooklyn-born novelist known for blending literary fiction with genre elements (like science fiction and detective fiction), has a personal and literary connection to BrazenHead Books, an iconic, secretive bookstore that once operated in the New York City apartment of Michael Seidenberg.
