The art work set forth in this book are from private and public collections Andrew Newell Wyeth (1917-2009) was an American visual artist, he was one of the best-known U.S. artists of the middle 20th century. He worked primarily aa a realist painter, working predominantly in a regionalist style. He won the National Medal of Arts in 2007. He also received the Presidential Medal of Freedom and Congressional Gold Medals and was elected to Britain's Royal Axademy. He was born and died in Pennsylvania.
