Other than a small bookstore sticker on flyleaf, the is no writing or markings found in the book, 208 pp. First printing was piblished in April 1953.
A better than usual copy of Salinger's second book and first collection of short stories. Salinger, as is well known, was particularly averse to publicizing his books, and this is likely the last occasion on which he acceded (if indeed he did) to having his picture used in such publicity.
