A wonderful collection of poetry, edited by Baker, that includes some of the greats, including Ginsberg, Nash, Updike, Keats, Housman, Blake and Cummings, to name only a few.

This collection of over 400 poems which Baker has selected to delight, amuse, surprise, and sometimes even shock you. He likens this collection to an amusement park and has chosen the best work of writers who are well known for their light verse, as well as verse by lesser known poets and some famous poets who are not ordinarily thought of as writing in a light vein. Russell Baker wrote for The Observer column for the NEW YORK TIMES and is the recipient of a Pulitzer Prize in journalism.
